Custom Fine Furniture that Makes a Statement

Al & Kade Hone – Hone’s Design Studio – Custom Fine Western Furniture

They might look like a couple of ordinary guys, but the western sculptures these two create is far beyond your run of the mill “furniture”.

Introducing Al and Kade Hone – Hone’s Design Studio – Profitable Hobbies featured artists.

Al Hone - Master Western Furniture DesignerAl and Kade Hone make an amazing custom fine furniture team. From the initial designing of a piece Kade Hone - Western Furniture Artist– all the way to the finish, every little detail is pure perfection. They are masters at combining functionality with their artistic ability to create furniture (actually sculptures) that stand alone and speak for themselves. (no, they don’t really speak, but you’ll see what I mean in a minute.)

Where most furniture and cabinet makers end – they are just beginning the process of making their furniture a true “work of art”.

Over the years, they have brought home several awards from the Western Design Conference including Best of Show, People’s Choice, Exhibitors Choice, and Best Artist Accent.

From Hone’s Design Studio…

Award winning artists, Al and Kade Hone, create fine art sculptures using wood as their main medium. Carving each piece individually allows them to bring out the natural beauty and character of the wood.  Sculpting everything from small and intricate, to much larger work, their diversity is unparalleled in the art community. Combining fine wood carving, and functional pieces of furniture, enables them to create wonderful heirloom quality art.

Al and Kade start with large carving tools, routers and saws, then work their way down to smaller tools to add the fine details.

Al and Kade often use NSK Electric Engravers for the detail work. Electric engraving systems are perfect for working with 1/8″ and 3/32″ cutters for removing large amounts of material in very little time. Yet, they allow you to control the tool enough to add detail without compromising the integrity of your design.

Thanks to Al and Kade Hone for being a valuable part of The I&E Network.

Absolutely beautiful work! “Awesome” is such a weak word when it comes to an adjective to describe your work! You have done something here that will stand forever as a testament to fine cabinetry. You have a place in history!
