A LIFE FOR A LIFE

Dinah Craik 1859

But oh! the blessing it is to have a friend

to whom one can speak fearlessly on any subject;

and with whom one’s deepest as well as one’s

most foolish thoughts come out simply and safely.

Oh, the comfort…

the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person –

having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words,

but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together;

certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them,

keeping what is worth keeping, and then with the

breath of kindness blow the rest away.

Such is the gift of Keith Hone

During the last few years I have tried to find a “time” when we could make a special recognition of someone who has contributed so much to our circle.  Whatever “our group” has become… is due in a large part to one wonderful person – Mr. Keith Hone.  Those of us blessed to know him well and have spent a great deal of time with him over our years always come away twice blessed…

ONCE WITH A NEW APPRECIATION OF OUR OWN POTENTIAL

AND SECOND WITH OUR SPIRITS SOMEHOW MAGICALLY LIFTED

I have noted the long list of lives and relationships that Keith has “touched” during the last twenty-five plus years on a personal basis and then if you add in all the countless other people he has indirectly influenced for the better — his reach has been truly amazing and I think more worthy of honor than we can even gather. – Dr. Lew Jensen

TO ALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS

We have arranged a special evening to honor our friend Keith Hone.

When: SEPTEMBER 1st from 5 to 8pm. This is the Wednesday – just before the Labor Day Holiday weekend.  This is a gathering for as many as can attend and participate in his special recognition.  If you cannot attend, please send a note and we will “bind” them all in a special thank-you book to give to him to enjoy.  Please include any old “photos” that you might have from your connection with him.

OUR SPECIAL LOCATION:  SPRINGVILLE ART MUSEUM

Once again, this beautiful old museum (Because Vern has kindly given us the okay) has donated their facility for our evening.  It is a magnificent place to honor our long time friend – HOPE YOU CAN ATTEND.

    I will not be able to be there but please give Keith my best wishes. I have taken several workshops with him in Las Vegas and at his studio.

    I am sorry I missed being there. Keith has been such a good friend, mentor and asset. I would not be doing the level of work if it werent for Keiths help. Good luck Keith.
